I have this modified 03 XB9->12R with the buell race pipe. I just found out under the pass seat that there is a power commander. So I decided to run the bike to see if the power commander does any interesting things with the LEDs. I noticed that there was one led lit on where it says fuel. I figured it would jump up when I gave it gas but didn't.

I also checked the power commander site and found there they don't have anything for the XBs

Can anyone give me some info on this? I'm guessing this guy rigged this whole thing.

I'm glad that this the previous owner put money into this bike but there are some quirky electrical problems and other bs i have to fix.

Isham,

I have a PCIII on my 2003 XB9S. I can try and answer your questions.

The LED bar on the left where it says "Rich" at the top and "Lean" at the bottom should move when you twist the throttle.

How did you tune yours? I don't see any Maps on that site.

Isham,

I had a dyno run where we recorded the air/fuel ratio versus RPM. I used that to create a map.

I really need to go back and check the map on the dyno to verify that what I did was correct. It sure runs good.

My XB9 will out pull a stock XB12 in third and fourth gear roll-ons and the 12 owner is probably 30 lbs lighter than me!

Do some searches for PCIII and you'll get quite a lot of information : ).

If that doesn't answer your questions let us know.
