Tilley's is raffling off a XB9SX to benefit the Victory Junction Gang that has been signed by Erik Buell, Ryan Newman, and Matt Kenseth just to name a few! If you are interested, you can get a chance by making a $10 donation each. Call Jennifer at Tilley's @704-872-3883 or email me at sales@tilleyhd.com! Thanks!

The drawing will be November 19th, 2005. You do not need to be present to win! Up to 2000 tix will be sold and you can either send a check made out to Tilley H-D/Buell or call me and give me a CC number over the phone. Sorry for the lack of info on the first post.....Jen

Jenn,

For those of us who may not be familiar with them would you please tell us a little bit about the Victory Junction Gang and what they are about? And when you say "benefit" can you please confirm what that actually means? Good to see someone from Tilley's posting again. We appreciate your support of the site. : )

Jenn might be able to fill in more info than me, what I know is:
Victory Junction Gang is a camp for disabled children and less fortuanate. It was concieved and designed by Kyle Petty. The camp is located in North Carolina. You may be familiar with the "Kyle Petty Ride Across America" ?! That ride is mostly due to the camp. Kyle and the group have done wonders in bringing a little light into the childrens lives. The cool thing is that all the buildings, water park slides, and play toys are designed with a theme, of some sort. You can see the kids faces light when they get just a small glimpse of it, totally heart warming. For ten bucks, I'll donate if not just for the good feeling.

I'm conflicted. : ) I don't want anyone else buying tickets so I'll have a better chance, but it's for a good cause.

I went by Tilley last week to see the bike. They have a ton of signatures on it. I saw signatures for Mike Helton, Kyle Petty, Matt Kenseth, Robert Yates, Eric Buell, and MANY more. Most put their car # next to their name so you could tell who signed it. Kyle and Kenseth signed the frame, but then also signed the airbox cover, and everyone else signed the airbox cover. So, you could pull that cover and put a new one on so all the signatures don't get damaged.

It would be a HECK of a prize to win, and if not, you are donating to a great cause. Here's a link to the Victory Junction Gang Camp:
http://www.victoryjunction.org

and a good link to a FAQ for the camp:
http://www.victoryjunction.org/vj/index/faq

And if I don't win, I won't feel so bad. After wife saw the bike, she agreed I could buy one if I don't win. : ) !!!

And thanks to the Tilley receptionist up front. She was as helpful and friendly as could be! Sorry I missed her name.
