Okay enough looking and thinking about what a Ulysses would be like to ride... How do I actually get on one and put a few miles on it for myself? I live in the Sacramento Area of California. I'm riding a BMW now and I am used to being able to go into the dealership and take a test ride on just about any bike in the BMW lineup. Will I be able to find a Ulysses somewhere within a hundred or so miles from my home that I can take one for a test ride?

Try the "Find a dealer" function on the Buell.com site. Thats a good place to start. Also try http://www.sacborg.com/index.asp for some info. I bet those guys over there can point you to a good place.

I know where the dealers are but I wanted to know more about the nature of the Buell dealers. If I could find a dealer that would let me take a test ride, if Buell has demo bikes, etc. I'll ask over on sacborg but those guys seem kinda mean.

give your local dealers a call. Ask if they have the xb12x available for demo rides. My local dealership has tried to talk me into going on a test ride a couple of times. I had to explain that the bikes on the floor are not properly set up for me, Me being a gimp and all.

Will do, thanks for the advice. BTW, the people over at SacBORG have been helpful as well.

Cool! Make sure you tell us all about it. I might get a chance to ride one today too.

You could always come to Wisconsin!
You'd be safe too, I can't sell you a bike anyway. No CA emissions.
