Got my front off ezzy pezzy... halfway through last night when I hit this, does anyone know what allen wrench I need, seems to be between a 8mm and 10 mm. HELP ASAP... I want new tires!! and have an appointment in an hour and a half. thanks for any input! |

1/4" fits pretty good. 6mm too small and 8 mm too big.... |

Not trying to bash, but just so you know, Buell's american made, and very few of the fasteners on it are going to be metric. Do yourself a favor, keep a set of Standard tools to work on the buell |

no bashing allowed! Naw it's all good. In my lack of sleep pulling my front tire, I got the "metric" label on the FRONT pinch bolts confused with all of the allen bolts. All of the other allen bolts seemed to work, it was just the last rear pinch bolt that pointed out that I indeed needed new tools. I wanted to get a socket allen for torquing but settled on a full set of ball end. My Dad is giving me a HUGE set of protools (most of which are sae) so I didn't want to buy another set. |

Other than the engine, most parts are from out of country (frame}, swingarm, shock, forks, wheels, brakes, etc.) If you look close, you'll find a whole lot of metric fasteners on the bike. |
