I dont know how they perform
but I saw a complete Header to exhaust kit from Force on a XB9R firebolt at Schaeffers.

It was freaking amazing looking.

Kds1,

Those dyno sheets look pretty good, the pipe just seems to add a bit over the stocker. That looks like the pipe for me (when I get the cash). I see that it comes with either left or right outlet, it doesn't happen to come with dual outlets does it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but from all the dyno sheets I've seen it appears the XB9S benefit more from mods then the XB12S. Is that the case?

Phantom,
It doesn't add much more peak than stock....
The 9 has a more conservative engine in stock form and that's why it looks better on the dyno...
The 12 has alot of peak power stock but the drummer doesn't lose any of that, but makes a load in the rest of the curve...

kds1,

Do you mod the race can into a drummer? Do you make a drummer with dual outlets?

Buellin,
I can do the race can for a 12, and dual outlets don't work for me....

Jedwele,
I don't think it sounds much different, but the resonation is a little crisper....

I was just comparing some stock and Drummer 12 dynos.
There is an increase of more than 10 hp and TQ
around 3500 to 5000 rpm. But peak hp is only
a couple more. I'd say thats a pretty good bang
for you buck! And added power you can really feel !!

Did I mention Drummers ROCK !!!!!

Kevin I don't need another pipe but I might buy
the ss from you if no one steps up and wants it.
What a piece of artwork. I might build a track
bike, and that light weight ss 12 would work
great on it, with a full fairing.

The Jardine is an awesome pipe too. Great warranty, light weight, and it rips. The best price too about $225, almost 1/2 of what the Drummer cost and you still have your stock exhaust for trips to the dealer for warranty work.

The Drummer is money well spent.

Heres a copy of the dyno chart I got from Jardine. Looks like it was done with a K&N filter and sreamin eagle ignition (buell race???). Looks good except below 3500 rpm which is where I think a lot of people like to have the launch torque. Of course dynos are one thing, but maybe this isn't an issue. I know that my 12 at legal highway speeds is in the 3-3.5k range. It would be a shame to lose that roll on, but then again it doesn't take long to get into the power band.

If anyone has this setup lets here what the real world verdict is. The stock sound is so bad that I might sacrifice a little mechanical performance for some "aural" performance.
