I have started a new axle check for my bike. i keep hearing about all these frozen axles. Is it normal for the swing arm to spread a little? I lightly tap it with a hammer. (rubber coated) The axle does come out. yes i have anti seize on the axle. anybody have a method to help the swingarm push the axle out with out a hammer. Like a clamp method?

The axle locking is on the threaded side most often. What your experiencing is the axle movement on the NON threaded side of the axle. This will not indicate whether or not you have a seized axle, only that it sounds like your pinch bolt is loose ; )
