I set my line on one of my favorite curve, and out of the woods came a big black lab
I was so scared we were going to get tangled up, he charged straight at me.
I may have brushed his nose with my boot , but that was all.
I had been thru my favorite twisties about fifteen times, and at the end on the last apex
is a long straight stretch were I usually run 110 before slowing down to do it again
But after the dog incident I slowed down to go ‘woo dhat wah scarry”
set up straight and look to my left. two city pokies waiting on me.
So the dog saved my license.

Just thought I’d share, I feel better now, can’t talk to the wife about these things

That dogs name had to be Karma. You have been spreading good will (not to mention info) here and created an un balanced condition (you were karma deficient whether you knew it or not. And Karma being what it is.... It came to you when you REALLY needed it.

Kinda along the same lines......Me, Glitch, Buellish and the Carolina Corner Carvers (C-3s) were in N.Ga on Hwy 180. Glitch was leading and me following, 8 in all. Came around a corner and there was a lady walking a horse (yes I said horse) another guy, dude on a road bicycle and 3 dogs!

I was afraid the Drummer would spook the horse and cause a bunch of chaos so I pulled in the clutch and coasted by at about 4 mph.

Once Glitch and I passed the dogs got very protective and zigzagged in front of everyone else to protect the people. Could of been ugly but everyone kept their head and handled the situation. Whew!!!

The dog was part of the speed trap. He just blew his cover to soon!
