It's been mentioned several times. The last time, someone described it well enough for even me to understand. And that is, the braided oil lines at the chin spoiler, which with the vibes can rub into each other and cause a leak if they are in contact with each other. Easily solved with a bit of split rubber tubbing over at least one of them.

For anyone else who had trouble envisioning just where these oil lines are that have been spoken of - here's a pic.

I saw a cool little trick involving a ziptie and a piece of rubber hose used to keep oil lines and ANY lines that are side by side apart.
Think it was on biker buildoff.
Put the ziptie around one line, add the rubber hose, zip the ziptie around the other line. wala your done and have 2 seperate lines.

There's a nice little separator on the '04 12R I have. Maybe call Daves and have him send one?

I used two zip ties, one across both lines with the second around the first ziptie between the two lines.

Separator is on '04 and newer bikes, the oil lines are also a bit different. I'll try to get a picture here in a minute.

the zip tie trick is a field expedience spark plug loom separator trick from NASCAR, long before they reached rock star status -- thanks to Smokey!

On the part of the screw used for the clamp. Mine's rusting a bit right now. I plan to replace it with a zinc plated one. I would recommend that anyone getting the clamp just forget the screw and run to your local hardware store with clamp in hand and find one that's zinc plated that fits it. It's not a big deal other than it looks kind bad IMHO.
