I recently purchased a gorilla alarm, and after studying my bike for a while, I found a great place to mount the alarm. It fits snug in this area just above the fuel hose. Also be careful not to get it mounted too "low" as this could bump the dipstick when suspension is compressed to the extreme, or too high as the wires would be more visible and look less appealing to the crowds your buell draws.

Also, here is how I mounted the alarm to my bike. I drilled a small hole into the base plate of the underseat area and attached it with the supplied "lock on" screws with a washer. This one's difficult to see.

Did yours have the silver bracket to mount and did you use it? Also where did you run the wires? It looks nice and clean.
Thanks
