Been a year since I bought her from K12 Pilot, crashed and rode her home. Shoulder is bumped and never will be right but,, dang what a fine machine she is! This current virus has my EBR sitting without tags and title work done since DMV is shut down... but every hour and mile on this wee beastie thrills my old butt! At 68, I ain't dead yet and love me some Rotax power!

Yep, agreed.
I'm almost 70 and still like my CR. Though it has been sitting a while. The front cylinder, exhaust cam has pitting in the lobes. I bought all of the required parts a while back, but have not taken the engine out yet to replace the cam.

Hopefully one of these days before I die..! I've got two car projects to finish first.

I have my little XB12s to get me around town on two wheels.

Mike

Xbpete, congrats on the first of many more years with the CR. We don't use the 1125R for two up riding on the Diamondback (rt 226A) in NC, instead, the Uly has more room as we are both over 6 foot tall. Last year's 2019 foto at the age of 75 and looking forward to 76 in July. Oh what a fantastic life we old farts live! Bless you and keep well.

Glad you’re still riding and enjoying it.
I need to put one of my 1125s back on the road.

I haven’t been riding much lately, primarily due to a wicked case of C-Diff that went undiagnosed for almost six weeks.
Doc put me on 10 days of what used to be considered the antibiotic of last resort, started earlier this week.
I had some improvement today, so I rolled out the X1W (only bike I have here at the moment) and enjoyed the curves and the breeze for an hour or so. It was good

Nice pair of bikes, Craig.

I turn 63 tomorrow, and hope to keep riding for many years yet.

Do you still have the XB12? If you do, and decide to get rid of it, send me the details.
