I'm looking for a crankshaft locking tool and a camshaft locking tool, new or used but still functional. Looking like I'll need to become more of a service manager than I thought.

Got a line on a camshaft locking tool (thanks Nillaice), still looking to buy a crankshaft locking tool.

Parts@EBR.com for tools.

The EBR website has a order form and the pricelist with tools available, or call a EBR dealer and they can order for you.

I bought some tools from Dean Adams.
Haven't even opened the box yet, as I know Dean's reputation, but I'll be using them in a day or two.

Roger that on the EBR site with the 1190 parts and tools. Lots of parts and tools are used by both 1190 and 1125 platforms but you need to do the research before you order. They were very fast and comprehensive in their response to my ignorant questions and the list is extensive.

Dean Adams' website is looking pretty vacant these days.

I have one of his RT-3 exhausts, with which I am very pleased. Really pounds the air at idle, but softens up when you get underway if you stay out of the throttle in town and around the neighbors.

Hope this is a temporary condition for his website, as I'd hoped to buy the crank locking tool from him.

The EBR web site was mostly down about a month ago, but some of the pages are back up.
Some of the pages have fewer items listed, but if you don't see what you want, ask.

EBR Tech came up with a part number for me for an ECM for a big bore 1125/1190 with the Sidewinder exhaust when I asked, and it's listed on the web page now.

I sent Parts a message yesterday looking for the header flange gaskets for the Sidewinder exhaust, they will be sending it to me as soon as they physically verify they have the gaskets on the shelf.

Stephen, I sent you a PM, check your email.

Short version on the website, I intend to take a short break to spend a little bit of time with my family.

I am in the process of finishing all the current orders, once I get my "vacation" in and the better half is happy, I'll re-populate the website.

9 years of building non-stop is enough for one guy, I need a break.

Hey Dean, glad to hear you're not abandoning us awestruck worshiping minions.

Sounds like you need a dedicated apprentice to lighten your workload. Seems a lot of folks are into the modified stock muffler approach -maybe something an apprentice could learn on, as it'd be hard to make the OEM muffler more ugly, and given the traditional flat black paint, many would not notice nor worry about the minor welding flaws, as long as the thing worked and sounded throaty.

I kept my OEM exhaust and the stock ECM, just in case the noise police get agitated.

I gotta say, the RT-3 w/ECM equipped bike is a massive improvement on the cat choked clattering comedy that came CA approved on my 2009.

All the best for your family time. You've certainly earned it.
