Does anyone know the color used on the lower forks, where they attach to the front wheel? Have searched but cannot find anything.

Pretty sure it's designer black. Is it the same color and texture as the sub-frame rails?

The only other black they used on 1125 was the Phantom Metallic. Which was wheels/frame/swingarm.

i just looked at a pic of my white 29...looks like cast aluminum with clear anodized finish. mine is not painted, unless it's silver and very lightly textured.

It is powder coated. The gray is same Fluid Silver from XB frames.

Perhaps there are several different colors, mine looks like a gold or bronze, lighter than the engine though.

Here's a picture, you can see where the coating is flaking off behind the adjuster.

I would have it powdercoated so that it will last longer.

Although powder coating is superior to paint, it will require total disassembly and cleaning, because the powder must be baked at 400 degrees F.
