Has anyone used the "Buelltooth" device yet? Does it perform as advertised with being able to wirelessly connect to the bike through any android device? View and clear fault codes and even upload recent erm programs?

I have one; works as advertised as far as uploading fuel maps, NOT firmware updates.I haven't had it hooked up for a while, and as my bike did not have any fault codes, I cannot comment on that capability. It does allow logging of live data, viewing and editing maps if you know what you are doing, and it's small enough to leave connected to the diag connector

Cool! Are ECM flash upgrades possible with this device? It seemed like they talked about this as one of the features.

I think what they are referring to with ECM flash upgrades are fuel maps and settings; you cannot do a firmware upgrade. If you or your tuner know what you're doing, you can change any number of ECM settings; you should use the search function for more info and posts on the subject.

Mine works great. Super easy to change maps.

I've been meaning to pick one up, my old Xopti Bluetooth ECM dongle no longer seems to work right, plus these new ones are nice and tiny, mine is around the side of a pack of smokes.

I hate that ECMDroid requires Bluetooth, I rather use USB as it is more reliable and less of a hassle with pairing and such.

You can't update the bikes firmware, that would need to be done at a dealer or possibly by sending it to IDS, a firmware update isn't really needed in most cases.

I have a Buelltooth.
I haven't begun to use it to the extent of it's capabilities, but it's worth the price just to be able to clear fault codes.

Keep in mind you have to have an android device to use ECMdroid.
Tablets can be had on Amazon for $50 and less.
The only reservation I have is the intrusiveness of the typical android program, but ECMdroid itself doesn't seem to be bad in that regard.
I got a $50 tablet that is used only for ECMdroid, and is turned off, with wireless disabled when not specifically needed.

That's kind of what I expected. I'm looking forward to using it for all the above but definitely need the latest firmware upgrade for a stock bike. What is the best way to update the ecm? Do Harley shops still perform these on 1125's? Is there a cheaper way of getting updates and latest ecm flashes? This is all great info, thanks to all!
