Hey all I'm done with my 1125r, far to racey for me. I thought I knew what I wanted, not the case. I have a 2009 1125r with 11000miles in damn near perfect shape. And it just had the 12000 mile service done at hd. It is black. Needs nothing. I want an xb12xt preferably with the stock bags. I found one local for 5000, so I would sell at that price. Text me with pics 928 379 2248. Thanks - Rob from az

Have you ever ridden a CR?

I'm not sure what you mean by too racy, but coincidentally, while I was test riding my '08 R today, I was thinking that if I had ridden an R first, and especially this one, I might never have bought a Buell.

My CR, with it's high bars and resulting different seating position, is worlds more comfortable for me, and the bike handles so much better that it's difficult to believe they're the same basic bike.

Part of the handling issue with the R is the tires. They are old, and well worn in the center of the tread, so when you do get off the center, it's like falling off a rail. The bike wants to fall to the inside.
The CR is stable as a rock, yet turning is completely neutral...just a joy to ride.

There may be other issues affecting the handling of the R. I haven't checked it out from stem to stern yet. Been fixing issues as I find them, then looking for more.

Edited to add that I tried boosting the tire pressure up to the manufacturer's recommended max, and it feels much better, other than the rougher ride.

Michelin 2CT Power Pures, BTW.
