So I managed to all but completely destroy my stator cover after laying my '09 1125R down in an intersection. (Low sun in my eyes + obstructed stop sigh + sand from nearby construction + grabbing the brakes too hard = Should have gotten off that road much earlier)

Fortunately nobody got hurt except my ego and my previously pristine favorite bike in the world. So... Anyone know where I can find a new stator cover?

Part number R0026.1AMB
It will set you back about $200 brand new, available from your favorite Buell dealer.

American Sport Bike also sells it, and likely has it in stock (no waiting game at the dealer)

If it's still structurally sound cover it with one of these: http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/models/1125r/ carbon-fiber-stator-cover-guard.html

I lowsided and ground the CF cover all the way through to the plastic stator button, but no damage to casting... worth the money.

Instead of spending $420 on EBR CF covers, I just picked up the ones from GBRacing for only $245 shipped.

You can save a bit more, if you go with standard shipping too. I went with courier shipping and UPS delivered them from the UK in just a couple of days.

Nice find! That's for a set too. They look great as well. I had never heard of this company or seen its products. I will be ordering tomorrow.

Pretty smart by them to cover the button on the clutch cover so this will fit both Rev A and Rev B.

WSBK apparently doesn't allow carbon fiber covers. The Hero EBR all use these covers. They fit well and come with longer bolts where necessary. The covers are nice and thick but still pretty light weight.

You guys are the BEST! I just ordered up my parts from American Sportbike. An expensive mistake for sure. I'm definitely going to have to look into some cover guards. And after that, some proper sliders. Mike, thanks for the offer.

Jeez, they want $60 to ship over here and the standard rate and courier rate are identical.

Is anyone serious about buying a set? It seems silly for each person to spend that ridiculous amount for the shipping.

I have contacted them to inquire about options, so if you are interested in buying a set please post here.

After some correspondence with the UK company that makes those case guards...it turns out they have a distributor in NY. Nice!

Case guards are $200 with free shipping. Which a hell of alot better than getting nailed with the VAT and $60 shipping from the UK outfit. I think they ended up north of $300.

Huge difference I would say : )
