Ok I have signs of leaking I didn't catch this for almost 24hrs... needless to say I think that was more than enough time for the Dot3 to set into the powder coat.

I am new to hydraulic clutches I read that if you keep the clutch lever pulled in it would help escape air? Well last night I did just that. This morning the bike did seem to shift smoother and neutral was easy to find. The point of contact is still early. (On setting 5) pull seemed lighter. Can some one please explain why this would help? I'm guessing its allowing air to move to a high point (reservoir)

Now back to the weep and powder coat. Are there replacement decals (nut cover and the 1125r tag) that I can use if I do need to powder coat later on and what brand/color best matches the factory?

Lastly is the tool from EBR worth my time? I have the metric Allen but not the exposed socket. And what torque do I need to apply when tightening it up. I watched most of the video, but I work mon-mon to a tune of 80 hrs/wk and don't have much down time

I just did mine with the EBR replacement kit, it's great.

I didn't get the tool, I just used a socket and clamped visegrips onto it's body to hold it.

I didn't bother with the torque setting, just tight (years as a mechanic). I don't have my book here to look it up.

Very easy fix and the EBR parts are great

Im not worried about the procedure, aside from tq specs..more or less im worried cosmetically as prior to this the bike was MINT, and with such low miles. Now I have permanent leak marks on the cover from the dot3 fluid Leaking down

Fix it, then ride it.

Wait until you crash or are ready to sell, then replace the cover at that time.

Enjoy one of the best bikes ever made!
