So, those of you who have the EBR race exhaust, did you get it ceramic coated? If so, what color? My CR is black (the ONLY color for a motorcycle IMHO), so black would look best with the rest of the bike, but silver would likely offer the most thermal advantage. Also, to those in this group, did you get the muffler (or just the lead in pipe) coated as well or leave it bare?

Please post pics too (if you got 'em)!

Thanks!

well i havent done it yet i still am saving up the money but i have a all carbon fiber cr so i figured i cant really go with black. so my idea was the get mine ceramic coated the same color code as the motor its self. kind of a dark gray i think it will end out very cool..i hope hahah

Good luck with the Zircotec coating Albert. I had two Xr1200 exhausts done by them and had to have the coating blasted off after only a few months because it looked so bad. The rough finish attracts every passing object and you can't wipe it clean. if you try and clean it or even rub it with your hand you leave another mark on it. very frustrating! Good for race cars with the exahsut hidden but not for bikes, I'd go for the smooth Camcoat finish every time over Zircotec.

i know all about zircotec trojan, have used it on many many race cars, i went for black as i know how much of a pain the white is regarding marks, i'd go zircotec everytime
it's been on the bike nearly a year now
