I have a 08 1125R and I am trying to find the accessory power plug. I thought it was located under the fairing support, but I cannot find it. Can someone point out where it is located and what type of plug am I looking for. There is a plug that hangs down behind the left POD, is that it? |

Left pod plug, IIRC, is your CAN bus plug. Look under the ignition switch area. I think you have one there. Make sure with a volt meter. |

I found mine behind the headlights. There were quite a few threads on this few years ago. I know they had pictures because I used them to find mine. BTW it works great. |

I believe it is grey in color and a "dummy" plug is inserted into the receptacle to keep the contacts clean..it's in the forward area under the fairing stay/mount |

I found it. It was stuffed above the wires under the gauge. I stole the cigarette plug in under the xt seat. It plugged directly in to the 1125 power plug. The cigarette plug slid nicely into the web of the fairing support. Now to work out the gps mount. |

here is what I built for froggy it mounts where the mirror mount studs come thru...got to use RAM mounting components for the GPS Mnt if you want one PM me
I can also make it a shorter standoff ...but then you have to use a longer Ram Arm here's the Ram Mount site... http://www.rammount.com/ |

The outlet has power if you have high enough voltage with key and kill switch on. Engine does not need to be running. |
