Only a short ride along the crest if you want to come get them   Father_of_an_era Posted on Monday, January 09, 2012 - 04:25 pm:        I appreciate the offer Bextreme04 but I am going to need the manual for a while since I have NO mechanical ability. lol This will be a huge lesson for me and I don't know how long with will take me to do the valve adjustment, fork oil replacement and whatever else I am overdue for. I really don't want to do it but the price of having Harley do it is ridiculous. They quoted me $750 for the valve adjustment if the shims where still good and an extra $200 if the shims need replacing.
