Well, I'm either an idiot or I am missing something very obvious here.

Replacing the rear pads. Unfortunately, my Service Manual is still in storage since I just moved.

I've gotten the caliper off and the retainer springs installed on the new pads. However, I cannot figure out how to get the pads into the caliper. I can get one in but the other simply will not fit.

I'm fairly certain that the piston is fully compressed into caliper.

WTF am I doing wrong here?

Never mind. The problem turned out to be that I'm an idiot.

I wasn't getting the pads seated all the way on the lug.

Turned a 10 minute job into an hour.
