Have you taken off the clutch cover for a look?

Don't drop the clutch hard?

Actually, I'd check belt tension/etc. A belt missing teeth could do that.

If it's not slipping at WOT in 3rd or 4th, up in the power band, it doesn't need replacement.

4th gear in the powerband is 120+ MPH!

Mine screeches every now and then. Every bike I have ever owned has when first moving after being parked. I think the oil drains out of the clutch pack over time and you get a little screech as it all engages the first time "dry".

Yeah no problem in 3/4 gear.. Which I use on a regular basis, almost redline!
This noise happens when warm..doesn't sit a whole lot and about 120+ miles every time I ride!
There should be no problem dropping the clutch off the line I don't think!
Just wondering if other people have has the issue

In over 100K miles on Buells' w/ Belt drives are great, the smoother the better with the power delivery.
