Well gents, after the gas cap debacle I pushed on and finished this years upgrades. The 1190RS upper triple from Erik Buell Racing and woodcraft clip-ons complement the cockpit nicely.

What do you think? The upper triple sits lower on the forks than the stocker and the clip-ons are a tight fit. My only wish is that the steering lock lined up. As of now it is non-functional.

Zoom Zoom...when does the Moto GP track open in Austin???? Not soon enough.

A couple of M8 nuts will spacer the ignition lock correctly so the lock works.

The clip-ons come with aluminum spacers that I will have to cut down to raise the ignition lock up.

Regarding riding position, it feels great. They bring me lower and a bit more forward. Being a tall drink of water with long arms it feels just fine. I actually think it feels better than stock for me. When I get in a tuck is when I notice the most and best change in feel. My arms are now more parallel with the deck.

Oh yeah...and those that are going to ask. This mod easily added 2-3 HP from my butt dyno ; )

Looks great! I've been looking at that online... link for the woodcraft clip ons? I'd probably go anodized black if i did mine.

how easy or hard to install?

Try this...I got the black anodized clip-on. The contrast against the billet triple is nice.

Install was easy, but you'll have to remove the retainer ring on the forks to fit the clip-on. Full swing is a little tight towards the tank since the 1125r doesn't have the recesses in the tank that the 1190rs has...now worries though, just a thumb pincher if you're not careful.
