Author Message   Bigevildoer Posted on Thursday, May 05, 2011 - 09:33 pm:        Hey guys... Out on a group ride, leading the pack when I see my fuel light come on.. I was thinking that's really strange, 'cause I only had about 75 miles on since my last fill. Stop at a station to fill up - like I thought, I still had lots of gas left. Used a bit more than I thought I did, but I wrote it off 'cause I was beating on the throttle my last couple rides. Didnt' reset the fuel average, so figuring that into my calculations was a no go. Put in about 12 litres of fuel (about 3 gallons) and it was full. Away we went.. Fuel light didn't shut off, and I could not reset the F-trip, or switch to any other mileage screen. About 2 minutes after the gas station my check engine light comes on - of course I start thinking the worst. Light doesn't shut off - rode about 25-30 miles with the light on. Pull into our meeting place at the end of the ride, turn off the bike, chat for a while etc. Fire the bike up, no probs. Check engine light is no longer on, but the low fuel and f-trip are still there. Get home, check the diagnostic screen, and this is what it said: P0193 - Fuel Pr Sys Error b1004 (61004?) - Low Fuel Sys Error The bike ran strong the whole time after the lights came on - goosed it a few times and ran it up to 7K rpm a few times. No stumble, no other strangeness. I'm wondering if the fuel level sensor is baked and everything else is OK. So, in your opinions - is the bike still OK to ride until I can get it in for a service and parts, or should I park it for god knows how long? Later!   Cataract2 Posted on Friday, May 06, 2011 - 03:55 am:        Think the issue resides in your LFL sensor on the pump. That is probably throwing the code. Cataract2 -- Thanks... calling dealer shortly.... Avalaugh -- can you reset your F-trip or is it stuck on that screen? The CEL light went out on the next restart - I'm guessing it was 'cause of the Fuel Pr Sys Error...
