Ok, I might be doing this wrong. I did the volt test on my stator and it checked out at 40 volts for all 3 legs @ 3000 rpm. When I did the resistance test though all 3 legs were 0 ohms. I'm thinking my ohm tester might be a bit off. I doubt that all 3 would be bad.

i believe it is supposed to be checked from each leg to ground... if it is less than 5 ohms then that leg has shorted to ground and is bad

If the stator legs show ANY resistance to ground other than "open/infinity", you have a problem.
Leg-to-leg should be 0.1-0.3 Ohms as the alternator is 3ø.
AC output should be 35-40 VAC @ 3000 rpm across any 2 of the 3 pins.

Info taken from the 2008 1125R FSM.

Your numbers look pretty good Ryan - how you doing in Germany??
Sorry for the Army/Air Force mixup... doughboys are OK too!

Doing all right. Just working to get the remaining parts for my 1125R VR change over now. Otherwise the weather here is getting awesome. Starting to get into the 70s for temps.

You will need a super accurate ohm meter. I tried out several ohm meters and they all indicate 0 ohm. I bought BK Precision 875B ohm meter to be able to read down to 0.001 ohm accuracy.
