My third Buell!... Im new to this water cooled action....but i do love this bike....I bought it with 300 miles on it with a year left on the warranty.. anybody do an oil change without the crush washers.. local dealer didnt have any..my spidi-sense is telling me to wait and do it by the book
1125 by tobacco barn...3 miles from my house..

with the other bikes i've had that use them i've gone for 5-6 changes before replacing them with 0 issues. i've done two so far on these ones and no issues to report. jsut inspect the washers closely for signs of major deformity or other 'issues' replace if less than comfy

I've re-used them a couple of times with no issues, also.

4 oil changes here. Still the original washers.

Thanks much fellas... think i can use the torque settings in the service manual? I just got burned on my Uly using the 26-30 ft lb from the book!
