Hi all, I've just installed E.B.R ECM (fuel pump + barkers) and when i get into diag mode, i found these errors:

- TPS SYS ERR
- FUELPMP SYS ERR
- FUEL PR SYS ERR
- IAC SYS ERR
- TIPOVER SYS ERR
- ACT INT SYS ERR
- IAT SYS ERROR
- RT FAN SYS ERR

I haven't ridden the bike yet but have run it and let it idle for 10 mins and it seems fine.

Has anyone else experienced this? Should i be worried?

Look forward to your responses...

That's normal, Erik Buell Racing don't normally have the time to reset all of the historic codes before shipping. They'll go away after 50 cycles.

If you get a new "genuine" fault the EM light will stay on.

Thanks Jules. phew!

Would turning the key on and off considered a cycle or do i have to actually start the bike?

Have to start it and let it warm up. I would not worry about the codes at all. They will erase on their own and will cause no issues.

Same when I installed mine, but I was expecting it (based on posts here) so it didn't alarm me. I never had any new 'real' ones occur, and they all cleared after 50 cycles. I wasn't counting them exactly, but 50 seems about right ...

Same thing happens when you get your stock ECM updated at the dealer, but usually they clear them out since they are already connected. : )
