Hi guys,
just wondering if some of you had bought and installed the kit.

i just wondering the CT temp.

I have the kit (the last one) and the CT temps seem to be very high.

Despite the ECM, Muffler and so on, my bike runs always about 104° C, while during track days the CT ends over 110° C...
Currently the weather temps are about 30° C, but i notice that, when air temp reduces at 25°C, the CT temp does not go under 100°.
Some friends of mine with stock air scopes say their CT runs about 90/95° C even this warm days.

i'm afraid about my rates.

If some of you have the kit, can you please advise on your CT temp?

does anyone can indicate which is the correct running range for CT.

thanks.

yes, i've got the kit. compared to the oem-scoops, temperatures are the same. we've got this thread over at xborg and we've found out, that all the scoops (oem/eskalation/freespirits) having pretty much the same cooling performance. the highest ct-value i've had was 105°c (full throttle on german autobahn for about 5min. at speeds around 220 km/h). on normal streets i've never had temps over 100°c.

Did you install the kit by yourself?
i didn't and i noticed that the kit did not close the scope as the OEM.

looking inside then, i believe that the shape of the shield added to the scopes recently did not cover the full surface of the radiator.

Some friend of mine told me the OEM scopes guarantee to run not over 95°

i friend of mine is making some tests.
adding "simple" waves on the front, he reduced the temp by 5° C.
test have been done with 30° air temp, running about 160 Km/h for 20 km.
temp never went above 100°C with the mods on, while it goes to 104/105° without mods..

10° C of difference with OEM seem to be a lot to me.

the mods are simple and raw, but they seem to work.

FS claims the scopes are running fine and no mods need to be done.
