where is the data port for the ecm spy cable on the 1125cr? I didn't see it up by the headlights anywhere. Anybody know where its at? | ||

under left pod at the rear. you would use ecmread and tunerpro. for getting and seeing all data. to datalog use ecmspy for now. To make the fuel maps in megalog use a new program called Bridge to make the MSQ file from the bikes data in tunerpro. then run MLV as normal with the datalog. bridge not only opens the files from one but converts it to the other layout. From MLV to Tunerpro or vise versa. A new datalogger is not fully done but its in process for all buells. Bridge is free also. | ||

Mike he just needs to clear the codes for now, so I recommended ECMspy as its less fussing around just to do that. | ||

I want to make sure i know how to use this cable, from what i undertand: 1. install ecmspy. 2. install driver. 3.plug in cable. 4. clear check engine codes. I noticed in the tuning guide it said to backup a copy of some file before i change anything, do i need to do this since i am just clearing check engine codes? | ||

I see the ecmspy website now has a process to download a demo of ecmspy for mono and sounds like a way to activate ($) to full version. Anybody able to register - I can't seem to get mine to got through. Second question - anybody know how much it will cost? |
