Anyone have any insight as to which California dealers have sold very many 1125's and has an experienced service department?

Bartels - Mitsu (Shawn Higbee's mechanic) - Mitsu is also requested by DA GOVERNATOR to work on his bike. You can also ask for Memphis.

Antelope Valley - Logan or Mitch

I've worked with ALL the above.

Mitsu at Bartels is a top notch mechanic. He really knows the 1125!

I thought you were going to sell the 1125CR, you gonna hang on to it for a while now?

I have had Santa Maria do a few warranty recall things alright, and use to take it down to Ventura where I had bought mine for its first few services. That said, I did my own valve check service and pretty much every thing else done to the bike, so I have nobody to blame but me if something is scratched or left off.

What are you looking to have done?

Well so far no one has wanted to buy it, so I'm ok keeping it awhile anyway. Just planning ahead for where to go for the valve adjustments is all. From what I'm reading here the valve adjustments at home seem to have great potential for aggravation. Man's gotta know his limits.

faultline harleydavidson are very buell friendly and seem to know what there looking at. they are in freamont california. if you are willing to drive that far check out JT&S performance at infinion raceway in sonoma county that is where I take both my buells the guys there better than most almost any HD dealer.

If i may ask, why do you want to sell your cr?

Here's my ad from the forum-
My red CR is for sale. Showroom shape, hi-bars, low pegs, Buell "touring" seat with quick release kit, fender eliminator(Jardine),four extra oil filters and new-in-boxes black pod covers. (Was going to matte-black them) Just under 1600 miles as of today. $6000 firm. Located in San Luis Obispo area, central Cal coast. Bought on a whim at the too-good-to-pass-up price, it's going to get me in trouble and I've too many bikes now. More comfortable with my old beater Ducati 900SS anyway. Act fast before I change my mind!

But I'm a motoholic so things always change. Been fortunate enough to have gone through 70 motorcycles (no wives, no kids) so it's all good.

I'm looking for a shop in the Sacramento area, doesn't have to be a factory dealer. The closest dealer to me, Rocklin Harley Davidson closed down a couple weeks ago and Sacramento Harley dropped Buell years ago. The only other one will be Folsom Harley. If need be I can trailer the bike and I heard Modesto Ducati will still service Buells since they used to carry them some years ago. I don't know whether they can do the CR.

I do my own service on the Ducati, but it took me a friggen year to learn how. I don't feel like starting over again, especially when the support system and other R or CR owners are on the rare side. If I didn't have Ducati owners and written material available, I would have never been able to learn how to do the valve clearances on them.

JT&S is about 90 miles from Saramento. Sometimes it's worth the drive so you KNOW it's going to be done right. Terry and Fireman Jim will do you right.

That JT&S sounds good. Five plus hours from me but I've a niece in Santa Rosa so I'll make a visit/trip of it. If I still have the bike for 8-10 thousand miles. I'm such a . Great response to this post. Thanks to all.

Faultline Harley Davidson dialed in my bike. Its running better than it did when I bought it new. Clutch weep resolved, hopefully for good. New tires and the 6K tune, Damn this bike is fun.
