I ordered a set of these lights on ebay and put them in today and my fuse blew .I even bumped the fuse to a 25 for testing purposes and still blew it.put the old ones in with stock fuse and everythings fine .I even jiggled the wires around to see if i have a short but i doubt it since the 1125 has only 1400 niles on it.Any Ideas or are these just some cheap chinese knockoffs that are junk.

Not sure about your kit cause you didn't provide any details. Odds are you have a short, but how about some pictures or a link to your HID kit?

I have all hid lights and have blown the fuse twice when starting the bike with all four on, but this was not a every time event just a couple times so I try to remember not to start the bike with the high beams on,

now I have a switch for the low beams so I have to turn them on and off manually,

I got my kits from www.starrotors.com and got digital ones for under 250.00 for all four bulbs two kits of two bulbs.

Well I just looked at my stock bulbs and noticed that they are 35 watt and the xenon bulbs are 100 watt.No wonder why i was blowing fuses. Why sell something that is gonna blow fuses out .It was a star rotors purchase on ebay.I tried just running the two and blew a 25 amp fuse out.I want a full refund from this clown.just passin the word.

trade them in for the 35 watt hid digital lights they sell you will not believe how bright they are and only cost 120 for a set of two,

if you are looking for night vision then HID is the only way to go.

I just installed a 35 watt on my XB9S....
WOW!!! what a difference!! Night and day!
Mike, you said you have 4!! shit!
I can't imagine how bright that is in person.

100 watt, huh. It sounds like you got hosed by what ever company you got them from? Pics??
If you plan on getting another set, shoot me a PM and I'll send you a link to a place that has good stuff.

RIDE SAFE!

I got the StarRotors H8 5000k color temp kit. Night vision is amazing. Particularly reflectors. I illuminate signs that cars 100 feet ahead of me don't, and it's a lot easier to tell what condition the road is when you've got white light shining on it vs the yellow of an incandescent.

I upgraded my highs to 55w bulbs and they still barely make a difference with the HIDs on and that's mostly angle not coverage or brightness.

It was a tight fit getting everything "under the hood" but it's all tucked out of the way. The details can be found in this SBN thread.http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/performance-custo mizing/360832-headlights-high-intensity.html
