Short, but interesting.

Amsoil is an EBR sponsor for the race team, and came in during the darkest most fragile days of the Buell to EBR transition. I buy Amsoil for that reason.

I'm sure EBR would not use them and recommend Amsoil if they didn't believe it was great stuff, and my own experience with Amsoil has been good.

Keep in mind this is an Amsoil advertisement by an Amsoil sponsored team.

Oh, Idunno, they reccomended HD Screaming Eagle Superduper whateveritwas too, and that stuff's hot garbage.

Like anyone else, they'll recommend what they're paid to recommend, so take that with a grain of salt.

But I think you're probably right, I doubt Erik would seek out a partnership with someone like "Bob's Snake Oil" now that he has the reigns back.

I always thought Amsoil was a good product, I just wasn't crazy about their selling/marketing arrangements. I started using it because like Reepi said, they were about the first outfit to sign on with EBR and support them when they were just starting out.

I'm happy with the way it works.

I can tell you from experience that this Dominator racing oil is THE shit in the 1190RS. I have seen a dramatic difference in wear in the engine since switching from the 20/50. After almost a full season of racing, the timing chain guides look brand new. This is a big change. This is not marketing hype. This stuff rocks.

I've been using AMSOIL oil in my '04 XB race bike since '06. I've had 3 different oil analysis done since then and those facts don't lie. I change oil at the beginning of the season and drain it at the end and what comes out is as good as what most folks put in fresh.
A lot of XB racers have had crank work done due to bearing failures, mine is still stock with 18,000 mile on it before becoming a race bike and nothing but severe duty miles since.
It's working for me...

"I wish we could get this stuff in Europe."

I'm a dealer, I'll ship it to you, but it's not cheap.

Erik's AMSOIL ad is great. Their sponsorship of EBR is one of the reasons I switched over to AMSOIl and subsequently became a dealer.
