Anyone interested? Thinking of switching wheels and having plastics painted black.

Off a 2004 XB9R with 2300 miles. Front wheel has one scratch in the white, but other than that....wheels are perfect. Ideally, I want to swap straight across. Rims only, Each pays shipping for their own wheels.

Email me at ruffryder@ifmracing.com

Thanks

I have some stock 03 rims that would be easy to get painted/powdered black I'd trade.

If I go that route, I will more than likely powdercoat the ones I have....Still kinda up in the air at this point.

Spend bunch of money on it, or just ride it like its ment to be ridden?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to powder UNpainted rims?

Are the stock '03 rims "unpainted"? I believe they have a "Stardust Silver" powdercoat with polished edges.

Hmm could be.
Looks like bare cast metal to me but you very well may be right.

Either way they would have to be bead blasted to be powdercoated.... it preps the surface similar to scuffing plastic to be painted.

I have a guy locally that can do both pretty reasonably.
