You pay direct shipping costs - UPS, USPS, FedEx.

It gets tossed in a couple weeks. Too lazy to weigh it and guess a box size. If you are serious, I'll box it up, get a weight and size so you can cost it out.

First post to CLAIM it here, gets it. PM me if there are any questions.

Done deal.

Thanks.

I'll get it boxed up and weighed. You tell me how to ship and I'll get you a direct cost.

The ring clamp is not available as it's holding on the stock exhaust to my S3 but exhaust clamps are available at better auto parts stores.

Perhaps a technicality but by "race exhaust" that is no "Buell Pro Series Race Muffler"

Kind of looks like a Supertrapp to me

Manufactured by Supertrapp, but a Buell accessory, the Buell Pro Series Slip Fit Muffler for tubers. Was from the Supertrapp IDS (Internal Disc System, if I recall) series.

Link to some links to some pics from back in the day...

Another pic...

Thanks to Lance!

I got mine the week I finished break-in on my then-new 2003 S3. It had about 56K miles. Stamped "BUELL" on the can.

Even for free, I feel guilty giving it away as it is so cracked.

I'll have more give-aways to come as I clear out TOO MANY spares from a dozen years of racing.

Intent wasn't to school you, but increase awareness to any and all that stumble upon this thread.

What year were those offered Brankin? I can't nail that down.
From memory, towards the end of the tuber days. From the kit number and the revision date of the instruction sheet I would say initially late 2001 and however long they were marketed/sold. Wouldn't surprise me if they were sold through the early XB days. To further refine this estimate, I'd have to do actual research, with physical accessory catalogs - EGADS! - if I'd even have the right years...

I'll have more give-aways to come...
I guess I'll have to pay closer attention... ; )

Hey guys if anyone else could use this I am more than happy to step aside. I know a master welder who is great with stainless and aluminum and was going to see if he could fix it for a shelf item. I already have a race setup on my S3 and D&D on my X1. So again if anyone needs it let me know.

Let's just make certain it gets saved. I have a couple unopened cases of catalogs . . if I find the thing in a catalog, I'll post here and get a copy to you. I'd print out that sheet Brankin posted from Lance to preserve the information for history. There will be some stuff headed to a museum in the next year or so and stuff like this is always interesting.
