Texted with that guy. I'm going down over the weekend to Myrtle beach if anyone wants me to check it out I'm willing.

Seems nice. Has the tail pad & bar bag : )

Um, I am flying in monday morning to buy it and ride home...If you want to take a look for me, that would be awesome.

It would suck to be out the cost of the plane ticket but at least I would know for sure if I was buying a lemon or not...

Also, if the guy doesn't murder you, that means he probably won't murder me..

Mike send me your number ( PM works) I have few people to go with so at least I'll have back up lol
I'd be happy to check it out for you if I get some spare time!
hopefully if there is an issue I could spot it.

Although I will say at $3k, it leaves plenty of $ for fixes should you find issues. That's a $4500 bike

I did a fly and ride and it was an awesome adventure.

Just watch tire condition. Apparently, 70% life left can mean 100% life on the sides and 0% life left in the middle.

And if you blow a tire on the top of a mountain in NC, you will (a) miss a nice steak Ferris was making for you, and (b) end up drinking most of Alex Priors beer and kicking fertilizer all over his garage.

DAMHIK. : )

So if there is doubt about the tire, just have a new one shipped and waiting for you and directions to a local shop that will toss it on for you.

Supposedly it has brand new tires...and the pictures he sent confirm that.

We will see...

I did a fly and ride for my S3 in 2010. two days of solid riding, stopping only for gas and food, and just the nonstop snarl of that motor for company. I was on a mountain top inside my helmet. It was the best experience I've had on two wheels.

My last fly and ride was before 9/11 when you could carry a pocket knife on a flight...

If shit goes down, I will have to stab him with a screwdriver that is less than 7 inches long (thanks TSA)
