I have this M2 in my garage that hasn't been ridden much in recent years. It belongs to my son, who is in the Navy. He hates to part with it, but thinks it's time to let it go. Has carbon fiber rear fender and guards, Vance & Hines muffler and traction grips. 10,000 miles. It's not perfect, but very nice. $3,300 obo. Located in Greenville, Wi

I see this ad is about 6 weeks old but still inquiring. What can you tell me about the bike? Pictures look good so what is less than perfect? I'm in the Madison area and sold my last Buell in 2004 (2000 M2) so thanks for any info.

Looking at the fork spacing and the distance from the hugger to the tail...it looks like an M2L (low)...

Personnally the seat looks like a standard M2.

Seat for seat, they're the same.

I own an M2L.

For some reason, I am unable to send/reeive PM's ? Maybe because I only have 50 posts over the years? Hoping I "might" be able to add a second bike for a play vehicle next to my FLHT. Trying to decide between old (M2/Lightning) or newer XB9/12 ?

For PM's, just click the username to the left of the post. Scroll down the new window to the "CLICK HERE to send a private message".

Click there.

A new window opens. Type your message, username and password, and click "send".

To receive, go to the email account you signed up for Badweb with. They should be sitting in your inbox. Check your spam filter too - might have to add "@badweatherbikers.com" as a safe sender.

I think I figured out the issue. My email address was outdated/now corrected. I'm going to guess that the carb was rejetted with pipe? I can't tell from the pix and I can't remember but did tachs start coming out on the 01 M2's? I had to fit one on my 2000. Thanks and PM sent..

they had a billet tach/dash kit for the m2 for those that came with the speedo only.
alot nicer than the plastic ones they came with. my 2001 m2 had a tach on it but i changed it to the billet one.
hope that helps

Troop,

I got your message, but received a failure notice again. Yours was the only inquiry, so the bike should be here whenever you're ready to have a look at it. Also, the carb was rejetted, and the bike has a tach. Last but not least, I had an M2L, and when parked side by side, was lower than this one.

Thanks,
George
