idle air control = IAC on may be a bad choice of words. Comparing to stock, the ebr default IAC setting seems like it was turned off.

stock ecm idle air control = engine decellerates sharply with throttle off.

ebr ecm default idle air control = engine diesels like a 2 stroke with throttle off. no engine braking at all.

ebr ecm idle air control on = engine braking works well with throttle off.
