Just picked up the CR...it has 2 miles on it. The Pirellis are not really my cup of tea. Anyone want to buy them before I go riding around on them?

Corsa III's? What don't you like about them? I was thinking of going with these for my next set after I burn through the almost new rear Pilot Power and the brand new (not even scuffed yet) Pilot Power front.

And as such I might be interested but I'd like to hear what you don't like about them. Feel free to PM me about them.

I will say check the pressure, Pirelli's in the past are picky and it might take a couple extra pounds to get where you want them. Also give them a good chance to scrub the mold release compound off. The Corsa III are supposed to be a decent tire. I don't think you can get the tires up to temperature in just two miles, they may be a little slick until that happens and the mold release stays for far to long (at least with the old Demons I had on another bike).

It isn't that I don't like the tire. It is that I WILL commute on this bike. I would rather put a $300 set of Road 2s on this baby for close to 10k instead of wearing through another set of Corsas in 4k miles.
