Damn that's tempting . . . but then I'd have to have the Mustang as well. Looks like a great project bike! |

Does it run? Do you have spare parts? Title? May help with selling it. If you weren't so far away it would be sold. I will check with my buddy who likes Triumphs and see if he is interested. Good luck with selling it must have decided to get the Mopar |

I had a '72 TR6R Tiger (single carb) that I restored back the '80s. Great bike that had lots of power. I should've never sold it. That is very tempting..... |

My second bike is a '79 Bonnieville Special and I LOVE that bike. Anyone who appreciates classic bikes has got to at least respect a Triumph. Unfortunately many Triumphs suffered a similar fate as the tube frame Buells of today in that they were often converted to "specials, choppers, or Tritons". Your '70 would make a good project and parts are plentiful if you know where to look. As others have stated you really need to provide further details (#'s match, does it run and details, etc.). I have not found mine to be any more tempermetal than most other bikes of that era and if it doesn't leak some oil, it must be empty! Try an internet search for the Britbike forum if you need more information or wish to advertise to those specifically interested in vintage Brit bikes. Best of luck. |
