Any idea if the bags will fit an S3 luggage rack or if the S2 rack will fit an S3 bike?

Well...I no you can put s3 bags on an S2, so I pressume you could do the opposite as well...Ask some of the gurus here like Court or Don Casto...

The S2 bags won't fit the S3 bracket, but the S2 bracket is really simple and could probably be easily adapted to the S3 frame with a little ingenuity and a trip to the local hardware store..

Any better explanation of the ingenuity needed? Are the mounts even close? I recently installed an S3 bracket and it looks different. I can handle a bit of garage engineering but I don't want to mess with lots of it for the price.

Ask the topic in OLD School...Im sure you will get the needed info from someone there...I dont think there is too much invloved, but dont wanna say its a bolt on for ya...Ive had both s3 and s2, but cant re: the total differences on bag mounting...I no the s3 bracket goes to the rear footpegs tho and the s2 doesnt, except for ratBuells bike...Hb

Its been a while since I've had bags, but IIRC the S2 bracket is a simple loop-over and two-bolt hanger setup. I would think that if the two bars on the rear of the S3 are similar in location to the S2, then it would be a bolt-and-go. If you can get me a pic and measurements of your rear subframe, I'll measure my S2's and try to give a more difinitive answer.
