I have only posted it here and a couple of other bike sites (free). I was hoping the price would sell it. From what I have been seeing, my price is low compared to all the others. I know what they ask for and what they will take are two different #s but I am much lower out of the chute. I was also hopeful that the price would help me sell this time of year. I am new to selling things on the internet so I appreciate everyones input.

Roger...I bought my second Buell here after it didn't fetch the "right price" on ebay. I've also bought & sold various parts on BWB.

As for the X1, maybe try ebay. But it may not sell there either. I'd have to agree with Nevco about the "time of year". Only bargin hunters this time of year.

Roger,
X1s no matter what the year or condition are lucky to fetch $6000.

Perhaps that may be true on the BWB, but you can always catch a kid in heat in the Spring.

Rogerb, Buying/Selling off of this site works very well.

Wrong time of the year to fetch a premium ($6500.00 is on the high side -- that's honest) price for a good weather recreational vehicle (all pun intended BWB'ers.)

No insult intended or meant. Hold out or for the kid in heat, and they're out there, or Spring. Later.

Desperate. I have had no interest in my X1 at all.

Someone make me an offer!! There is nothing wrong with this bike. I has brand new tires with less that 50 miles on them. I am willing to set the record for the lowest priced X1 that is in perfect working condition.

1999 X1 about 11K miles, red, supertrap exhaust, will included S&S carb and ignition if you want or switch it back to EFI

Jeff,
want to trade for a Bugatti Type-35 kitcar, twincam engine out of a 1971/2 FiatSpider, built on a 1959 Austin Healy chassis. This ain't no Volkswagon. VIN number assigned (but lost in a box someplace), no title issued yet, not street legal yet, wouldn't take a ton of work to make it road worthy. Looks a lot like this one except in blue and the fenders and lights not mounted:

or this one:
http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/4/4/59570944.htm

Let me know if your interested. I'll be offline for a week for a computer upgrade and attitude adjustment ;) . Not really looking for an X1, just wanting more to move the car and the bike would take up less room or I could park it down at Suburban on consignment or something.

Long shot but thought I'd ask since you're going for a record here. :)

You could weld a trailer hitch on it, it would make for a dandy track bike hauler with a lightweight trailer behind it. :)

Thought I'd offer it up in any case. I'm cleaning house after buying a house, sort of the other side of the same fence you're on I guess. ;)

1999 Black Buell M2 Highly Modified

Performance Mods

Screamin' Eagle Racing Ignition Module, S1 Cams, Carbon Fiber Race Air Cleaner, Screamin' Eagle coil and wires, Force Streetfighter exhaust, intake manifold kit, re-jetted CV40.

Cosmetic Mods

S1 Tank and Tail, cut down and painted cam cover, painted primary cover, banke shifter, bar end mirrors, polished swingarm, polished lower triple tree, added tach, cut off passenger triangles, millienium footpegs.

I do still have the larger stock tank. I will be happy to give this along to the buyer. I also have new decals for the smaller tank that I never put on. I liked the all black look but to each their own. This bike is LOUD and is a head turner. First they will hear you, then they will try to figure out what the heck it is. (in a good way!) I fabricated a new tail support section using some sheet aluminum since part of the frame was removed to fit the older, simmer, and sexier S1 tail. It's not pefect since fabrication is hardly my trade, but its fully function and looks really clean.

Any other questions or concerns please contact me at briansubsist@hotmail.com. This bike runs strong and I have had no problems with it since I bought it from the previous owner who had purhased it new with 5,000 miles on it. It now has a little over 14K. Always run with Mobil 1 V-twin fully synthetic. The only reason I'm selling is I have pretty much completed this project and I'm ready to move on to something else. On top that I'm getting married and will be moving and need the cash. The price is $4500 or best offer. Title is payed for and clean. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping charges. I will be happy to take as many pictures and email them to you.
