Thought I'd post this here 1st. Selling my 2001 S3T. Bike is in great condition mechanically and cosmetically. Less than 10K miles. No problems or issues other than cracks on the lower fairing mounting holes and they all have those. Could use a new set of skins but there's enough miles left to get you home and then some. Front and rear rocker box gaskets have been replaced. Bike has: traction grips race ECM Vance & Hines carbon fiber pipe K&N air filter leather seat Bike and I are in SW Florida. Is it Fuel injected or Carbed?? Would you consider a trade for an 883 Hugger?? | ||

i would think it was a fuell injected paint and didn't you just get the 883 not to long ago. | ||

Awesome bike, great deal for such a complete original one, with all of the upgrades. I already have a 2002 S3T, so I cant get it but someone should jump on this one quick! Christian | ||

Hey Paint, I think we've met before at a couple of the Buell rides and a Buell party at Vegas's place. The S3T is FI. I'll think about the swap but I'm really looking at a couple of other bikes like the Nightster or maybe a Beemer down the road a bit, maybe next year. Steve-O | ||

Scooter, I believe we have met also. Here is a pic if you are interested. 2002 883 hugger, 9,000 miles, pearl white paint. Also have owners manual, a solo seat, stock mufflers, stock risers, stock buckhorn bars and foward controls (new in the box) to go with it.  | ||

Paint, Tempting as it is I think I'll stick to my original plan of selling the Buell outright. I can hang on to it a few weeks if you want to try and sell yer Sporster 1st. Bike has not traded hands yet. Potential buyer is working on logistics to get the bike home. I promised him I would sit tight for a couple of weeks so he could arrange his schedule. Check back with me in a week or so and I will update status as I soon as I can. Thanks, Steve-O |
