Cityxwanted

Hi.

I'm looking to purchase a Buell Lightning XB9. I prefer the cityX, but will consider an older model. It must be 2003 and newer. I am in Lancaser, SC about 1 hour south of Charlotte, NC. I would like a bike with descent miles in great shape. It will be used as a 90 mile round trip daily commuter mostly. I fell in love with the XB9 and went to the Harley shop today and saw the cityx first hand. I really need this bike.

Please reply to this or email me at jbond@alumni.clemson.edu

Thanks.

Justin

Britt's down here has a City X and although I know you said he didn't want one, they do have a 12SS, both used, both seem to be in great shape, especially the 12SS. The previous owner of it actually works there as a svc tech, he rides a Uly now.

This was posted on Carolina Corner Carvers. I don't know any more than what's posted. It would be Britt Motorsports in Jacksonville NC. You could probably contact Southern Marine on Carolina Corner Carvers as he is the one who posted about these two bikes.

Good luck on your search.

I have a 2003 XB9R with 3600 miles. It is in Excellent condition. It doesn't have the mirrors or blinkers on it, but I do still have them and they will come with the bike. It has the factory race kit installed (exhaust, ecm, air filter). I will also throw in my helmet and my wifes helmet(never used) and my nylon riding jacket with shoulder, elbow and back pad. I am asking $5800. I can easily ship it to your area for $333.20 using Forward air.

I've got one in North Florida, we can work out a deal on. I used it for commuting also, it has the streetfighter seat on it already, very comfy.
