My bro and I were fiddlin around in his garage and I mentioned the Screamin Eagle module. He pulled out a Crane Cams Hi-4 Single Fire module and coil.

Has anyone tried this?

I'm thinkin about rigging it in there to see what happens.

Yes, been tried. The SE module is reportedly a Crane unit, but I dont remember which one (its posted on badweb somewhere) and it doesnt look like the Hi4 ignition.
See the introduction on the previous page (Ignition, Battery, Charging System - Electronic Trouble shooting) for a good overview on what needs to be done and resulting effects on the TPS and auto enrichener. I would also contact Crane for instructions on regular installation and if they even have instructions on a Blast installation.
Having the Crane coil is a plus, but it may or may not be needed. If its a dual plug coil, the extra plug wire can be run to ground (or install a dual plug head: ))

Just about any self contained 'nose cone' HD/Buell ignition will work. Ignitions with a separate external module will also work, but it just takes more wiring.

I could relay more info, but I dont want it to seem more complicated than it really is!

Awesome, thank you! I was looking through the SE instructions and thinking to myself, "I bet that's what I need to do."

Cool. I'll definately let you all know how it goes and what the outcome is!

Installation Step #2 is critical.

I need a new cover.

Picture

I thought it meant dont go too deep into the metal, not too deep towards the shaft.

Oops.

My mistake for others to learn from.

There's a little tiny hole in the middle. It squirts oil now.
