Do yall think I can cut enough foam out of the tall seat to make it as low as the low seat? After putting my rearsets on I am having trouble being comfortable on my bike. I knew it wasn't going to be comfortable with the rearsets but this is a little much. The problem is I feel to high up and it's putting all my wait on my wrists(200 lbs, 5'7"), so much that it hampers my throttle control. I feel like if I was lower it would center my weight more. What do you guys think?

Since the low and tall seats both use virtually the same seat pan, you can cut as much out as you want. The low seat may be too low and your legs may feel very cramped.
I think you should buy or borrow a low seat and find out before you ruin your tall seat. Low seats are a dime a dozen.
And what you are now experiencing is the biggest reason I dont run rearsets. These days bikes that come with rear set pegs often have enough tank to grip on to, so you can hold yourself up without relying on putting all your weight the bars (well at least I cant grip the tank, thats waaay to uncomfortable, maybe if I was female, if you get my point).

Yeah I get cha. I tried taking the seat off and sitting on a towel on the battery and that felt much better. I would like to use the tall seat so I can add some foam to the tail end to raise it up like a cafe tail. My legs are pretty short and even with no seat at all I didn't feel cramped. I also have more foot leverage that way.

FYI: There is a hump in the seat pan that goes over the battery terminals. It will keep you from going too low, too far back (see my seat pics-front page). It could be cut out and its tolerable, but limits you somewhat.
It lets me know where my butt crack needs to be when I'm 'hanging off' (LOL) !

LOL, Thanks for the info. I'm goin to Walmart tonight for an electric knife(and maybe a frozen dinner!). The standard serrated knife I was using doesn't work. The little bit I shaved so far is already helping. I will also grab some more foam to build up the hump at the tail end of the seat. Thanks

UPDATE:
Well I got an electric knife and cut a big hank out of my tall seat and the difference is night and day. Being lower in the seat took 90% of the weight off my wrists. Much more comfy now, I just got back from a 2 hour ride and no cramped legs or sore wrists. Still handles awesome too.

No doubt, I will post up a pic tonight, I have my niece's nursery school graduation in a little while and after that I'm going to a fabric store for the material to re-upholster my seat.

LOL, My hair is just super thick. It looks cramped i guess but it works well for me. Most of my weight is on the seat, taking the stress off my wrists. I also have good foot leverage at that angle. Oh and it's not a "crotch rocket" it's a Cafe Racer.
