Send me an email from your new email server with your username, old email, and new email address. BTW: There is never any reason to send any moderator your password. We will never ask for your pw. If someone asks for it, they may be trying to maliciously hack your profile. We cannot see passwords, only reset them. This function will be automated soon as will the email address change. Have you tried that? Gotta allow a cookie to be stored on your pc (set this in your user preferences). The cookie is just a tiny little file with no harmful or invasive capability. The BBS simply uses it to identify you. The free acces is in my eyes a very attractive quality of a BB. And nobody will blame you if you re-install that obligatory username/pw thing again when necessary. You might see the username/pw thing as a rain suit: temporarily and only when needed. (and mostly after getting wet but that is not too bad.)
