Check out the new "Tire Comments" thread in the tire section of the KV. I'll post to a couple of the active threads to try to generate more hits and feedback.

Hi Blake, The link to http://www.irfanview.com/
above the Cool Buell Pictures doesn`t work anymore. Maybe only my firewalls, ditches or trenches.

Blake,

At what point will the XB series get it's own Knowledge vault? There is certainly enough data to warrant it between exhaust, TFI, S to R and R to S conversions. I would just hate to see the current knowledge vault become so mixed with different models that no one can make heads or tails of it.

Koz,

Valid observation. The idea was to maintain a single Knowledge Vault but to have users include the model of bike in their specific thread/subtopic within the the applicable KV primary topic. How about helping to get everyone posting tech stuff in the KV? The ultimate solution is to integrate a form to prompt users for model and subject matter to help guide them to an existing thread or to create a new one with a fully descriptive title.

The search by subject utility then becomes very useful.

The trick is getting the XB riders to post to the KV. Will have to get busy with that. : )

Thanks for the suggestion.

kaz5150 has a good point and to add to that.
it would not hurt to brake it doen to year and model.
and then withing that folder to break it down to exhaust, electronics, cosmetics, etc.
thanks i hope this is useful

Blake, how about a PM button for the Admin staff? For a mass message to all the admin staff instead of having to do a seperate PM to them all?

A good idea. In the mean time, you can also PM just one or two of em and ask us to post it to the custodian area.

Please tag this along with the Tuber Wheel Bearing Info in the Knowledge Vault. Thank You : )

My idea is for a riding log within each person's profile... some folks seem to be on here nearly every day. If there was a place to log your rides inside of your profile, others could have a peek at where you've been and what you are up to. Even if nobody looks at it, it would be kind of fun to chart your own travels.

Neat idea, Ted. I already keep my own riding log. The only problem is, I don't really go "anywhere". Most rides are 30 miles or less...just "meandering" and enjoying the bike and the ride, usually 3 to five times a week. That looks pretty boring on paper.

Cool idea. Add your own extra field to your profile and have at it. :thumbsup2:

Or better yet, start your own topic in the Tale Section.

Something wrong at Badweb? I came in through the logo at www.badweatherbikers.com and I have no frames. Different. Maybe things are just different in New York.

Nope. Looks to be a permanent change. At first I missed the navigation frame, but all of the functions on the nav bar can be handled through the search function. i.e. last 3 days posts for example...

Also, just found the nav functions moved to the bottom...: )

Yeah, I like that change. About time ; ) .

I think the font color blue has gotten a little darker, right?

Anyway, the links at the bottom could be just a tad larger. 19" TFT at 1280 and it's just too small.

Dave,
Just foolin around. : )

Ingemar,
For MSIE please see your toolbar and click on "View" - "Text Size" - "Larger" or "Largest" : )

I'm running 15" TFT at 1400 and the text is small yet easily readable with the browser text size set on "Medium" : )

Blake, the rest of the text is good, it's just that menu that is too small for my likings. I guess its a matter of preference.

I appreciate your suggestion, but it changes the textsize for the whole webpage and every other webpage I view. I would find myself switching textsize all the time, something I don't want to do.

But like you said it is readable so it doesn't really matter I guess.

Love the change to the board, but could I make one little suggestion? What if you moved the navigation features at the bottom to the top and made their font just a little bigger? Possibly place them on a bar at the top with the other features you have listed at the top. Or just line them all up on the top. I like it without the navigation feature to the left. : )

Once I figured out the bottom line thing and you get to the last day sort, about the only issue I have is that when entering a lot of the threads, they are too wide for a standard notebook computer screen.

Trust me, continually having to scroll horizontally in order to read the posts is miserable.
