Just got back from a meeting with the promoter of the Sacramento Mile and the Santa Rosa Mile. Flyers are available and tickets are for sale for the Santa Rosa Mile already (www.santarosamile.com) They are planning on having free parking for groups of motorcycles. So, if you and nine of your friends buy tickets together, You can get preferred parking and save $4.00 each that you would have spent on parking. Last years Sac Mile was a fantastic race, right down to the last lap. People in the stands were going nuts. It was like old time racing, lot's of fun. Talk to you friends, get together a group and come on out for the races!!

here's the latest NorCal AMA Pro press release [edited]:

--------------------------------------------

Dear Flat Track Fan,

The Santa Rosa Mile promises to be a weekend filled with activities for everyone, from the hard core Flat Track fan to those new to the sport.

The weekend starts off with a Pro-Am short Track event on Friday night 9/28 and swings into Saturday with a full schedule - including an Art and Wine Festival, a Pinstripe Fest, the Grand Marshals' Dinner, and another night of Pro-Am Short Track racing.

On Sunday 9/30, the gates open at 10am for the re-born Santa Rosa Mile, with the first race at 1pm.

some background - as much as we love the intimate and nostalgic Calistoga venue, the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, with its two tracks and larger grandstands, offers more opportunity to bring more racing to more people.

And besides that, it is "The Mile".

Speaking of The Mile, the 2012 Sacramento Mile "National" will once again be a headline event of the California State Fair at Cal Expo

It will held on the last Saturday night of the CA State Fair, July 28. Tickets will go on sale April 13. Stay tuned to www.sacramentomile.com for more information as we get closer to the ticket sales date. Your Sacramento race event ticket will include admission to the fair, so plan to bring the family and come early for a day of fun-filled activities for all to enjoy.

The Circle Bell Motorsports team would like to thank all of the individuals, companies, and sponsors that have contributed to bringing back GNC racing to NorCal. We would especially like to thank Steve Delorenzi of SDI Insulation for teaming up with us to offer to construction contractors a special ticket and advertising package that includes VIP perks at the Santa Rosa Mile, along with support of the SDI Insulation Race Team and its rider Mikey Avila #33e. Although the package is geared toward construction contractors it is open to all. It is a great way to support the sport by not only supporting the event but also a rider. For more information on the SDI Insulation Contractors Race Crew package check out www.santarosamile.com or www.sdi-insulation.com.

See ya' at the races!
