A very hot weekend at the track- Shakespeare County Raceway- nearly 30c all weekend, probably hotter on the start line.

Got 17passes in all and I'm absolutely shattered today it really was tough sweating in leathers all weekend.

Pb after pb, but as it had only done 5 passes before this weekend it is to be expected.

Finished with a best of 10.076 @ 134mph and a best 60ft of 1.585.

the harder I tried off the line the bigger the wheelies got- on a 66inch wheel base???- no traction problems at all though.

Have plenty of adjustments available, rear ride height, rear spring, front end height and a few hundred rpm on shift point available.Possibly going to put more pressure in tyre...couple of photos,on fb already, show quite a flat tyre.
Also going to look at possibility of stronger clutch springs. I was running 2 passes at a time and the 2nd 60ft was never as good as first, even so sometimes 30-40mins apart.Would also help to ping the clutch out quicker.

Lots of fun but the hardest weekends testing I've ever done.
At least I know that it would go 9's with little joe on it,although he might have trouble keeping the front end down.

What a great bike eh? shame they don't make 'em any more. And there aren't more spares over here in the uk. I'd kill for a spare motor.but they want more to ship it over than the motor price.

A question for the winter- turbo or centrifugal blower?????

Cheers Joe,I hope there's as much grip at santa pod on saturday...not a sign of wheelspin all weekend.

No doubt we'll have the usual pod head wind too. Wonder if dave has started his rain dance yet?

Saturday is looking good for me , also. Supposed to be mid 70°s and dry air. I plan to back myself down a notch- was getting dangerous last week like you said, I was trying too hard. Its just a t&t day , so I will experiment with shift points and kill time.
Hoping by Monday we are both members of the 9 second Buell club : )
