I was curious if anyone out there has replaced their pushrod covers with anything other than stock. My pushrod seals are leaking a bit from the top seals - not enough to lose any significant amount of oil - but enough to keep the front of the engine coated with a thin coat of oil and produce a bit of burning oil stink.

Has anyone replaced their pushrod tubes with any aftermarket alternative to OEM that perform better. I'm not opposed to just replacing the seals for the stock units, but if there's a better option, I would enjoy hearing about it.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Cheers!

Alex

Keep with the stock plastic ones. The aftermarket multi piece units have more chances for leaks.

Do they even make aftermarket pushrod covers for the XB engine? The engine cases are different than a sportster and won’t even fit the individual tubes found on the sportster.

Yeah, I've heard Zippers has a system that will work, but the information I've heard seems to be a bit sketchy. I'm not sure if it's legit or not.
