I think I may own the 3 best bikes ever made now....lol least to my way of thinking. I just picked up my new to me 2009 Xt. What Hd was thinking when they scraped this brand is beyond me ! This bike added to my Klr 650 and Roadking gives me everything I could want. All very different rides, but all much fun in their own way. |

I sold my 08 KLR to get my Uly, wish I would have kept it. The Roadkill may seem a bit underpowered now after driving the Buell! Have fun with the new ride & try to keep the front end down. |

I thought about selling the Klr, but I think I would really miss it too. It's a great backroad explorer. The RK is a kinda "smell the roses" ride, very comfortable and easy going. The Uly will most likely get the most use. |

You will no longer ride your RK. It will be lonely in the garage. Sold my Road Glide once I got my 09 Uly |

Lol, thanks for the welcome. I don't know about selling the RK. Bought her new in 02, real teal, and carbed. I'm not crazy bout the new ones so she'd be kinda hard to replace. |

I also sold my FLHP when I bought the Uly. Not a bad ride...but just didn't do what I wanted a motorcycle to do. And I got tired of buying floorboards at every oil change |

Go check the "XB12X vs. X Difference" thread...the guy posting is wondering about the X or XT, and has owned similar bikes as you. You might be able to help him. |

I have a Vulcan 1600 Classic and getting ready to trade my KLX250 for a Uly. I know that I will be keeping the Vulcan because that is the one that the wife feels truly comfortable on. I will have her test out the Uly, but at 5'4" I think that she is going to like being closer to the ground. The Uly will be my daily rider with the Vulcan being the weekender when I need to get away from schoolwork. |
